Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Systems Development Lead to join Nottingham City Council's Children's Services Department on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The postholder will act as the subject matter expert for Liquidlogic, leading on the design, configuration, and implementation of system upgrades. While the organisation will continue to use Liquidlogic, this role will focus on upgrading and enhancing the system to ensure it meets service needs, supports best practice, and improves outcomes for children and families. You will work closely with Children's Social Care, IT, data, and external suppliers to ensure the system is fit for purpose, compliant, and effectively embedded across the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of upgrades to the Liquidlogic case management system.
- Act as the Liquidlogic expert for Children's Social Care, providing specialist advice and guidance.
- Work with service managers and practitioners to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Configure workflows, forms, processes, and reporting within Liquidlogic to support statutory and operational requirements.
- Manage testing, deployment, and post-implementation support for system upgrades.
- Liaise with Liquidlogic suppliers and external partners to deliver upgrades effectively.
- Ensure system changes comply with data protection, information governance, and safeguarding requirements.
- Produce documentation, guidance, and training materials to support system users.
- Support continuous improvement and future development of the case management system.
Essential Requirements
- Extensive experience working with Liquidlogic, specifically within Children's Social Care.
- Proven experience leading or delivering system upgrades, development, or implementations.
- Strong understanding of children's social care workflows, statutory processes, and data requirements.
