Are you an experienced Registered Nurse seeking a new and rewarding challenge in the Durham area? We are currently looking for a Prison-Cleared Registered Nurse to join a dedicated healthcare team within secure settings across Durham.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality healthcare services to individuals within a secure prison environment.
- Assessing, diagnosing, and providing clinical care to prisoners with a wide range of healthcare needs.
- Administering medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support inmates' health and wellbeing.
- Ensuring the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhering to all prison security protocols and health and safety regulations.
Key Requirements
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience in a prison or secure setting, or a keen interest in working in this challenging and dynamic environment.
- Current enhanced DBS clearance and valid prison clearance.
- Excellent clinical skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
