Accommodation Broker Co-Ordinator in Middlesbrough

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an Accommodation Broker Co-Ordinator to join Middlesborough Borough Council on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities * To support the effective delivery of interim/temporary accommodation services, liaising with providers to understand vacancies and service pressures * To liaise on a day-to-day basis with colleagues throughout the Council and providers and establish effective working relationships, both with internal and external partners * Accurately record all interactions and information received, ensuring a thorough and reliable record of events and placements on relevant case recording systems, being trauma informed in language and approach. All recording should be in line with Council policies and procedures, relevant legislation and government reporting requirements * To be responsible for the assimilation and distribution of information relevant to the brokerage function, to internal and external providers. This will include contacting providers to arrange interim/temporary accommodation, working with partners and making arrangements for the commencement of the placement including transport arrangements Essential Requirements * Experience of working in a customer service or administrative environment. * Effective use of ICT packages such as outlook, excel, word, client recording systems to process information * Ability to work constructively as part of a team and to establish effective working relationships with partners. * Basic DBS Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to you
