Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Southern Housing who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for a Team Assistant - Direct Services this role will be based at: ME14 5LH, The Oasts, Newnham Court Village, Bearsted Road, Maidstone, Kent
The right candidate will:
- Placing orders directly with suppliers
- Liaise with internal teams relating to subcontracted works.
- Handle and resolve any order or price discrepancies.
- Liaising with subcontractors to obtain updates on completion of works
- Maintain and update supplier records.
- Tracking and amending orders.
- Contact suppliers to resolve possible shortages, missed or late appointments and any other discrepancies.
- Review overdue orders, notifying of any significant delays from suppliers.
- Any associated purchasing administrative tasks as required.
- Provide support on cost saving initiatives when applicable.
