Southwark Council is offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6+ months, with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a negotiable rate dependent upon experience.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for booking and scheduling appointments and programmed works and providing general support to the pest control team by assisting the Scheduling Manager.
- Provide excellent first line customer service through the PCS contact centre and arrange appointments and operational service requests.
- Provide written and verbal service related advice to officers, members of the public, contractors, community groups and all stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain office systems and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in an administrative capacity in either the private or public sector.
- Experience in providing excellent customer service in a busy office environment.
- Ability to use and produce documents using IT applications including word-processing, spreadsheets and databases.
