Belmont Recruitment is looking to speak with candidates for a Rough Sleeper/Outreach Practitioner role based in the Surbiton area of South West London. We are looking to speak with experienced Recovery Workers/Outreach Workers with experience within the field ideally or strong transferable skills of working as a Substance Misuse Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to support the homeless population into treatment to address drug and alcohol needs.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging with vulnerable individuals who are or may be at risk of homelessness and have experienced housing challenges, with substance misuse, alcohol, and mental health difficulties as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Making positive changes in peoples' lives, through a non-judgmental, recovery-based approach that values the strengths and choices of those individuals.
Position Details:
- Contract: 3 Months (+ongoing)
- Hours: Full Time - 9am to 5pm
- Days: Monday - Friday
- Salary: £20.00 to £22.00 per hour
