Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Camden Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6+ months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.
We are looking for a Caretaker. This role will be based at Mansfield Road, London, Camden, NW3 2JB.
The right candidate will:
- Be a Non-Residential Caretaker with a minimum of six months or more experience.
- Understand health and safety, and the use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH).
- Have the ability to work on own initiatives, which is an advantage.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the common areas in the residential property.
- Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the property, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Conducting regular inspections of the property to identify any maintenance issues or repairs that are needed.
- Coordinating and overseeing any necessary repairs or maintenance work, including contacting and scheduling contractors.
- Assisting residents with any maintenance requests or issues that they may have.
- Managing and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and unclogging drains.
We require the following:
- The candidate must hold a full UK driving licence, as the role may require driving.
