Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a CAMHS Mental Health Social Worker/Therapist/Psychologist Psychiatric Nurse (RMN/CPN/Art/CBT/Psycho/Occupational/Clinical/Counselling) Band 5/6/7/8A to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service based out of Newham in Greater London.
The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply. This is initially on an ongoing locum, however this will most likely be made permanent.
We are looking for highly motivated and highly skilled Band 5/6/7/8A mental health professionals to work with young people in the community experiencing mental health issues. You will be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team. You will possess excellent liaison and communication skills with a thorough understanding of risk assessment and risk planning in the home and community environments.
This new role within existing urgent provision will provide outreach crisis support to CYP and their family, alongside their core CAMHS care coordinator/involved professionals. This post will be supporting the CAMHS assessment and treatment pathway, completing assessments at local acute hospital and delivering treatment intervention.
The pay rate for this locum role is between £21.71 - £39.71 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
