Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking experienced recovery workers to join a reputable private charity in Liverpool. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the community on a rolling contract basis, with the potential for long-term engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Work with substance misuse clients and rough sleepers to prevent present and future homelessness through the residential service.
  • Use interventions to aid residents through their recovery with a weekly timetable tailored to each client.
  • Support residents by collaborating with external agencies and with detoxification teams.
  • Deliver individual and group sessions, facilitate recovery plans, and provide harm reduction advice and interventions for blood‑borne viruses (BBVs).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS required
  • Hourly rate: £17‑£20 (dependent on experience)
  • Working hours: 37.5 hrs per week Monday to Friday
  • Contract duration: Minimum of 3 months, with potential for extension
