Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Reablement Support Worker to join Liverpool Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week. This role is working in Lime Hub which provides a service for people with Learning Difficulties / Physical Difficulties and complex health care needs.

What You'll Do

  • Support service users with their physical, social and emotional needs, encouraging independence in line with reablement and care plans.
  • Help individuals with daily living skills, including kitchen tasks, household routines, laundry, and personal care.
  • Use appropriate equipment to support mobility and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with families, health and social care professionals to minimise risks and enable people to return home safely.
  • Administer medication where required (for community-based staff).
  • Participate in assessments, reviews, and the development of person‑centred support plans.
  • Promote dignity, empowerment, and respect for cultural, spiritual and religious needs.
  • Support individuals in social, educational, therapeutic and recreational activities, including hydrotherapy, rebound therapy, and activities within the onsite café.
  • Maintain accurate records and report any significant changes in a service user's health or circumstances.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Experience working in an adult social care setting.
