We are looking for caring, resilient, and dedicated Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our growing teams in Colne and Leyland. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people within a residential care setting, with the opportunity for permanent employment following a successful temporary period.
About the Role
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will support young people with their daily routines, emotional wellbeing, education, and personal development in a safe and nurturing environment. You will work closely with the wider team to provide high-quality care and positive outcomes for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a similar residential childcare or EBD setting
- Experience supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
- Passionate about supporting children and young people
- Able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent) desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence desirable
