As Ward Manager, you will lead the operational management of the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, recovery-focused care within a therapeutic and least-restrictive environment. Working closely with the Clinical Lead, Consultant Psychiatrist, nursing teams, and therapists, you will promote rehabilitation, dignity, independence, and safety for all service users. Key Responsibilities- Provide visible day-to-day operational leadership across the ward/service
- Lead, supervise, and support RMNs and Recovery Support Workers
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, risk management, CQC standards, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act requirements
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, sickness absence, and participate in the on-call rota
- Oversee care planning, medication management, documentation, and ward standards
- Lead audits, quality improvement initiatives, and service compliance
