Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Southwark Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Intelligence & Impact Analyst this role will be based at: SE1 2QH Hybrid 2 days office based. The right candidate will: * Lead analytical and intelligence activity within the assigned department, undertaking complex analysis using innovative statistical and analytical methods on large and varied datasets. Provide robust evidence and insight to inform improvement, evaluate impact, and support statutory, corporate and service-level performance reporting within the Council’s performance framework. * Develop and apply analytical approaches that strengthen the evidence base for service transformation, programme delivery, strategy development, and policy and performance improvement. * Manage and protect confidential and sensitive data in accordance with information governance principles and partnership agreements, ensuring data is handled ethically and securely. * Deliver performance and insight products by using data tools including Excel and Power BI, with potential to use specialist software such as MapInfo, Stata, SAS Enterprise, or R. Apply appropriate techniques for analysis, visualisation and storytelling to translate complex data into accessible and actionable insight. * Produce, interpret and present high-quality analytical outputs, including reports, dashboards and visualisations tailored to different audiences to support evidence based decision-making and strategic planning. * Undertake evaluations, needs assessments, forecasting and the development of performance indicators and outcomes frameworks to measure effectiveness, impact and value for money of services, initiatives and interventions. We require the following: * Strong knowledge of a wide range of analytical and statistical techniques, including methods for synthesising data and evidence to inform decision-making and service improvement. * Experience analysing and interpreting large, complex datasets to generate actionable insight that informs strategic planning, policy, and service delivery. * Experience designing and delivering analytical products, dashboards, and reports that link data, performance, and impact for diverse audiences. * Experience developing and applying data models, evaluation frameworks, and outcome measures to assess effectiveness, value for money, and statutory compliance.
