Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to work with our client based in the Hinckley area on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 45 hours per week (07:30 β 16:30, Monday to Friday).
The Role
The successful candidate will initially work on a temporary assignment until January 2027, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position. The role involves carrying out re-handling duties within a commercial waste depot using 360 excavators fitted with petal grabs.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out re-handling duties within the waste depot
- Operating tracked and wheeled 360 excavators
- Using 360 excavators fitted with petal grabs
- Supporting the safe and efficient movement and handling of waste materials
Requirements
- Previous experience operating 360 excavators
- Relevant licences for both tracked and wheeled 360 excavators
- Experience within a yard, waste, recycling or similar environment would be advantageous
