Job Details:
- The role will provide professional support, advice and supervision to frontline practitioners.
- This will involve responsibility for providing leadership in the management of risk in complex safeguarding situations.
- This will ensure that all cases are managed in line with the council's statutory duties and that a quality service is delivered to adults and their families.
- To assess the quality and effectiveness of local authority planning and support for adults and Carers.
- To provide system leadership to ensure the local authority discharges its statutory adult social care and carers responsibilities lawfully and effectively, embedding the wellbeing principle across all care and support functions, to ensure that adults and carers experience safe, timely, person centred support that delivers improved outcomes.
- To provide oversight and strategic vision across adult social care in leading the Council’s governance, assurance, and partnership arrangements to safeguard adults with care and support needs who are at risk of abuse or harm, and cascade professional development and training opportunities across the workforce.
