Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Head of Facilities Management & Capital Projects on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee facilities management, capital projects, and statutory compliance across council and school sites.
  • Lead the corporate and school capital delivery programmes and drive asset management strategy.
  • Manage budgets, procurement frameworks, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure health & safety, governance, and risk compliance across all facilities.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, external partners, and stakeholders.

About You:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, asset management, and capital projects.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety compliance, property maintenance, and procurement.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams, budgets, and multi-site estates.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
