Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Facilities Driver/Operative to join Veolia on an ongoing temporary contract.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect waste and recyclable materials from designated areas across the site.
- Drive a company van to transport waste safely to the central waste compound.
- Segregate, package and label waste in accordance with site procedures.
- Assist with the safe handling and removal of hazardous waste materials.
- Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the waste compound and storage areas.
- Support chemical deliveries and waste collections where required.
- Ensure all waste documentation and duty of care paperwork is completed accurately.
Essential Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Previous experience working within a facilities, waste management, environmental services or industrial environment.
