Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Waltham Forest Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.
The right candidate will:
- Lead and manage day to day operations and development of the service in line with CQC standards and nationally recognised good practice.
- Manage a team of staff providing high quality and innovative person centred care to older people with a variety of needs including those living with dementia.
- Ensure residents' physical, emotional and social needs are met with compassion and respect.
- Be responsible for the home's overall performance, including occupancy, budget management, recruitment, staff management and reputation.
- Contribute to the achievement of the council's key purposes and to the continuous improvement of performance.
- Provide operational management, as directed by Head of Service, to Provider Services teams during absence of managers.
We require the following:
- Experience of working as a Registered Manager in a residential care home for older people.
- Experience of managing staff, budgets and operations.
- Experience of supporting and promoting safeguarding through actions and behaviours.
