Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join a centralised decontamination unit in Enfield, providing essential weekend cover.
Key Responsibilities * Receive used endoscopes transported from the hospital via the in-house logistics service. * Carry out the full decontamination and reprocessing cycle in line with departmental procedures and infection prevention standards. * Operate specialist decontamination equipment, including: * Getinge ED-Flow Washer Disinfector * Getinge Drying Cabinets * Getinge Vac-A-Scope Packing System * Inspect, process, dry, pack and prepare endoscopes for safe return to the hospital. * Ensure all equipment is handled safely and correctly throughout the decontamination process. * Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with required procedures.
Essential Requirements * Previous experience working within an Endoscopy Decontamination Department is essential. * Practical experience of endoscope decontamination and reprocessing.
