The predicted salary is between 33 - 33 Β£ per hour.
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Digital Content Manager to join Cheshire & Warrington Combined Authority on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract.
This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This role is agile working with frequest visits to offices in Ellesmere Port, Warrington, Widnes, and Cheshire East.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the Combined Authority's digital content strategy aligned to corporate priorities.
- Create and manage a forward plan of digital content across all channels.
- Lead content across websites, social media, newsletters, video platforms and other digital communications.
- Produce and oversee high-quality multimedia content including video, photography, graphics and animations.
- Use analytics and audience insights to optimise content performance and improve engagement.
- Support statutory consultations by creating clear, accessible and engaging digital communications.
- Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, constituent councils, partner organisations and external agencies to deliver coordinated messaging.
- Manage and develop the Social Media Officer whilst overseeing external agencies and production partners.
- Ensure all content meets accessibility standards, brand guidelines and legal, political and governance requirements.
- Respond quickly to emerging issues, opportunities and reputational matters with timely digital communications.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading digital content strategies within a complex organisation, ideally within the public sector, local government or a politically sensitive environment.
- Experience delivering multi-channel digital campaigns and content plans.
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, audience engagement, analytics and digital best practice.
