Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an Accommodation Support Worker to join a Housing Association based in Crewe on an ongoing temporary contract. This rewarding role focuses on delivering person-centred and trauma-informed support to individuals with multiple and complex needs, helping them build resilience, maintain independence, and successfully move on into permanent accommodation and community living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored person-centred support to individuals within supported accommodation.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships using a trauma-informed approach.
  • Develop and maintain support plans, risk assessments and safety plans.
  • Support service users to develop independent living skills including budgeting, tenancy management and accessing services.
  • Deliver one-to-one sessions and structured group activities.
  • Support individuals to move on into permanent housing and sustain tenancies.
  • Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, incidents and crisis situations.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within supported accommodation or support services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures.
  • Experience completing support plans, key working and risk assessments.
