Together Teaching is currently looking for a School Site Supervisor to join a fantastic Primary School on an initial 12-week temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities * Security and Keyholding: Open and close the school premises and manage alarm systems. * Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine inspections of buildings and grounds, log repair needs, and carry out handyperson tasks such as basic carpentry, plumbing, and painting. * Health, Safety, and Compliance: Oversee health and safety regulations, conduct statutory checks (such as fire alarm testing and Legionella water checks), and manage Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) logs * Contractor and Staff Management: Supervise external contractors, monitor cleaning or caretaking teams, and ensure work meets required standards and safety policies. * Utilities and Facilities Operations: Maintain heating, hot water, lighting, and ventilation systems, and handle porterage (moving heavy furniture, deliveries, and setting up spaces for events) * Grounds and Weather Response: Maintain outdoor spaces, clear litter, manage waste disposal, and handle emergency weather responses like snow clearing or flood control Essential Requirements * Enhanced DBS * Previous experience as a school site supervisor Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to you
