Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Night Care Assistant to join Calderdale Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract.
Location: Calderdale (community-based)
Hours: 3 nights per week on a rolling rota, including weekends and Bank Holidays (21:30 – 05:00)

The Role: We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Night Support Worker to join our community-based team in Calderdale. You’ll provide personal care and practical support to adults in their own homes during the night, helping them feel safe, respected, and supported.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering personal care (e.g. washing, dressing, toileting) in line with care plans
- Carrying out practical tasks such as bed-making, laundry, and preparing drinks
- Monitoring service users' wellbeing and responding to changing needs
- Recording and reporting accurately and effectively
- Driving between locations using a Council vehicle or your own (if applicable)
What we’re looking for:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
- Full UK driving licence
- Understanding of safe working practices, safeguarding, and person-centred care
- A flexible, caring attitude and the ability to work independently at night
