The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Sutton Housing Partnership, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate per day which is negotiable dependent upon experience.

The right candidate will:

  • Carry out detailed inspections of social housing properties and communal areas
  • Assess the quality, standard, and completion of recently delivered major works
  • Identify maintenance issues including damp and mould, fire safety, and structural concerns
  • Recommend future planned maintenance and major works requirements
  • Work closely with contractors to ensure remedial works are completed to required standards
  • Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Sign off completed works, ensuring quality and contractual standards are met
  • Provide expert Clerk of Works advice to the Planned Maintenance Team
  • Maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation

We require the following:

  • Proven experience as a Clerk of Works, Building Inspector, or Surveyor within housing or construction
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, repairs, and maintenance
  • Experience working within social housing or local authority environments
