The predicted salary is between 20 - 20 £ per hour.

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Westminster Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.

The right candidate will:

  • Proactively manage multiple Cabinet Members’ diaries to enable the smooth and effective running of their offices.
  • Proactively manage Cabinet Members’ inbox, share correspondence with relevant officers for review and advice, and draft responses as required by the Cabinet Member.
  • Support Cabinet Members and their Portfolio Advisors to handle portfolio specific casework.
  • Ensure every complaint or casework request received by the Cabinet Member is actioned appropriately and quickly.
  • Handle the administration of the ward budget programme under guidance and direction of senior colleagues.
  • Draft contracts and decision reports for review and approval by managers.
  • Maintain the Councillor Information Hub with basic information updates such as staff changes.

We require the following:

  • Demonstrated ability of supporting senior politicians or Director-level staff in an administrative capacity.
  • Significant relationship management experience.
