Belmont Recruitment is looking to speak with candidates for a Rough Sleeper/Outreach Practitioner role based in the Surbiton area of South West London. We are looking for experienced Recovery Workers/Outreach Workers with experience in the field, or strong transferable skills from working as a Substance Misuse Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to support the homeless population into treatment to address drug and alcohol needs.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with vulnerable individuals who are or may be at risk of homelessness and have experienced housing challenges, substance misuse, alcohol, and mental health difficulties as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Make positive changes in people's lives through a non‑judgmental, recovery‑based approach that values the strengths and choices of those individuals.
Position Details:
- Contract: 3 months, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (may be extended).
- Salary: £20.00 to £22.00 per hour.
