We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Nurses to support a specialist detox service based near Preston, Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for Nurses seeking flexible ad hoc work with competitive pay rates and the chance to make a real difference within substance misuse and recovery services.
Shift Patterns
- Days: 07:00 – 19:15
- Nights: 19:00 – 07:15
Pay Rates
- £26.50 per hour – Days
- £27.50 per hour – Nights
- £40.00 per hour – Bank Holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within a detox and rehabilitation setting
- Administer and manage medications safely and in line with protocols
- Monitor patient wellbeing and respond appropriately to clinical needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery outcomes
- Promote a safe, therapeutic and supportive environment for service users
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration (Adult Nurse or Mental Health Nurse)
- Previous experience in detox, substance misuse, mental health, forensic, or similar settings preferred
- Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexible, reliable and professional approach to shift work
