The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Time/Childcare Worker to join Cheshire East Council on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise contact sessions between children and their parents or family members
  • Ensure all interactions are safe, appropriate, and child-centred
  • Provide a supportive and neutral presence during visits
  • Observe and accurately record behaviour, interactions, and any concerns
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns appropriately
  • Set up and prepare contact spaces to ensure a welcoming environment
  • Manage difficult situations calmly and professionally
  • Work closely with social workers, family support teams, and other professionals
  • Promote positive communication and healthy relationships where appropriate

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
