Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Caretaker / Site Technician to join Nottinghamshire County Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Duties: 1. Overseeing building maintenance requirements and identifying future maintenance issues, ensuring the building functions smoothly and remains operational. 2. Reporting day-to-day repairs via wider Property Safety and Facilities Management Team. Tracking the progress of jobs raised, liaising with other members of the team. 3. Reporting construction and maintenance requirements to Site Services Team and liaising with contractors on site. No works to be undertaken by this postholder that disturb fabric of the building or adjust the structure or services. 4. Key holder for the building. Opening and closing of site. 5. Security of the premises, together with its contents (including the operation of the fire alarm systems). In case of an emergency, for example intruders, fire, floods, failure of water supplies. To attend from home if necessary. 6. Ensure that the boiler/plant is working, and as necessary maintenance as agreed (site specific) Requirements: 1. Previous experience of working as a Site Technician, Caretaker, Site Manager 2.
