Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join Bradford Council on an ongoing temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user and infrastructure support, ensuring agreed service levels are met and exceeded.
  • Support, maintain, and improve ICT systems, networks, servers, storage, email, desktop, and workspace technologies.
  • Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions and preventative measures.
  • Monitor system performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of ICT services.
  • Work within ITIL service management processes and accurately maintain service records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and end users to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and support to users and less experienced colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within an ICT Service Operations, Infrastructure, or Technical Support environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and end-user support.
  • Experience supporting servers, storage, email systems, desktop environments, networks, or datacentre technologies.
