Are you a qualified IDVA looking for your next assignment? We're recruiting on behalf of a specialist domestic abuse charity for an experienced Independent Domestic Violence Advisor to join their MASH team in Bexley. This role sits within a Safeguarding Adolescents Support Service and Family Hub setting, supporting high-risk victims of domestic abuse referred through the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. You'll be carrying out risk assessments, safety planning, and advocacy in line with CAADA/SafeLives standards, managing a caseload of 25–30.
The role works on a hybrid basis — 2 days in person in Bexley, 3 days from home — offering a good balance of team collaboration and flexibility.
What we're looking for:
- A recognised IDVA qualification (CAADA/SafeLives accredited)
- Experience working within a MASH or similar multi-agency safeguarding environment
- Prior experience in a domestic abuse charity setting is a bonus
- Confident use of risk assessment tools (DASH/RIC) and MARAC processes
- Enhanced DBS (we can process this for you)
The details:
- Start date: 18th August
- Length: 8 weeks initially, with a strong likelihood of extension
- Pay: Weekly, via agency
