The role
We are looking for a talented,imaginative and enthusiastic teacher to join our Key Stage 2 team and takeresponsibility for a Year 5 class. As well as creating effective, enjoyablelearning environments, you will foster the social and emotional growth of ourpupils – delivering high-quality teaching with warmth and challenge in a safe,engaging classroom.
We particularly welcomeapplications from Early Career Teachers – you'll be fully supported by adesignated mentor and our ECT induction programme from day one.
This post is fixed-term,reflecting current pupil numbers on roll, and will be reviewed ahead of the2027–28 academic year.
What we're looking for
You will be a values-driven,committed and resilient teacher, organised and effective, with a determinationto make a difference. Specifically, we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with a degree-levelqualification
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, including asuccessful KS2 placement during initial teacher training for ECTs
- The ability to plan and teach well-structured,well-adapted lessons that engage and challenge every pupil
- Strong knowledge of assessment for learning, andconfident behaviour management
- The ability to safeguard and promote pupils' welfare,with emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviour
- Excellent communication skills, with children,colleagues and parents alike
- A collaborative, team-first approach and a commitmentto your own professional development
