The Marketing Manager (maternity cover) is responsible for leading and delivering marketing strategies and initiatives across the Trains & Cruises portfolio in the UK. This role drives brand awareness, supports commercial performance, and ensures consistent brand elevation across all guest touchpoints. The position works cross-functionally with Revenue, Operations, Sales, PR, Digital, Social, and Property teams to plan, lead and execute integrated campaigns, optimise digital performance, support communications activity, and manage budgets effectively. Based at the Trains & Cruises Central Office in London and reporting to the Divisional Director of Brand & Marketing, this is an exciting fixed term opportunity for a dynamic individual with a passion for excellence and storytelling in travel, a strong cultural awareness and an unswerving approach to maintaining standards. Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead brand and marketing activity for UK Trains & Cruises properties
  • Develop and deliver integrated 360° brand campaigns and tactical commercial campaigns
  • Partner with General Managers, Revenue, Operations and Sales teams to support commercial objectives
  • Coordinate with PR, Digital, Social, and Global Brand teams to ensure effective campaign execution
  • Support brand positioning and guest experience through collateral, product messaging, and touchpoint enhancement
  • Drive digital marketing performance across website, CRM, Search and Paid Media channels
  • Support communications and social media activity for UK Trains & Cruises properties
  • Monitor campaign performance, maintain reporting, and contribute to monthly business updates
  • Manage budgets, supplier processes, purchase orders, and financial tracking for UK Trains & Cruises properties

Requirements

  • Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, with exposure in hospitality or luxury sectors
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in brand and marketing campaign execution, liaising with key stakeholders, producing marketing collateral with a strong understanding of digital marketing, social media and CRM
