As Reception Supervisor at The Cadogan you will join our fantastic Front of House team who look after each other, our amazing property and our guests. If you are looking to develop your skills and be part of the future of luxury, this is your moment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Supervise: Oversee and coordinate the activities of the reception team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery in the absence of the Reception Manager and Assistant Reception Manager.
- Guest Services Excellence: Warmly greet guests, manage check-in/check-out processes, and proactively resolve complaints or concerns to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Operational Management: Maintain an organised and presentable reception and lobby area. Ensure strict adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- Reservation Management: Assist with comprehensive guest reservation management, including booking, confirmation, and adjustments.
- Information & Concierge: Provide guests with detailed information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions, and promptly fulfil inquiries and special requests.
- Financial Acumen: Accurately process payments, handle cash transactions, and prepare/reconcile daily financial reports with proper documentation.
- Administrative Support: Execute administrative duties such as updating reservation logs and managing guest lists.
- Team Development: Train and mentor reception staff, offering guidance and support to foster a high-performing team.
- Strategic Enhancement: Develop and implement strategies to elevate guest satisfaction, improve service standards, and plan amenities for the year.
- Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless service and optimal guest satisfaction.
- Shift Accountability: Perform opening and closing duties, including cash drawer balancing and report generation.
