As an IT Supervisor at The Cadogan, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our advanced technology infrastructure. Primary Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to hotel employees, resolving hardware, software, network, and system issues in a timely manner.
- Support and maintain hotel IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, printers, telephony systems, Wi-Fi networks, and audiovisual equipment.
- Ensure all hotel technology systems operate efficiently and securely, including PMS, POS, finance, HR, and other business-critical applications.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with company policies and data protection requirements.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers to coordinate maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and support activities.
- Support hotel events and meetings by ensuring audiovisual and technical equipment is operational and available as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support and infrastructure management, preferably within a hospitality or luxury environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in supporting hardware, software, networks (including Wi-Fi), and various business-critical systems (e.g., PMS, POS).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues efficiently and effectively.
- Experience with cybersecurity measures and ensuring data protection compliance.
- Familiarity with IT asset management, system configurations, and support request tracking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide technical guidance and support to non-technical hotel employees and liaise with vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
