As a Groups & Events Sales Manager at The Cadogan you will join our fantastic Sales team who look after each other, our amazing property and our guests.
Primary Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed budgeted revenues in Groups and Banqueting as per the annual budget.
- Manage all group and event enquiries from the initial proposal to follow up, contracting and carrying out site inspections to achieve high conversion rates.
- Effectively manage a portfolio of key assigned accounts through planned sales activities, maximising account potential in terms of rate, room-nights and events in accordance with overall sales strategies.
- Focus on the growth and continued production of existing assigned group and event accounts, both domestic and international.
- Proactively search for new business opportunities and drive new leads.
- Coordinate all aspects of events, from initial inquiries and contract negotiations to on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
- Manage the banqueting budget and provide accurate forecasts to ensure financial targets are met.
- Ensure effective communication with other hotel departments to enable smooth operation of in-house groups and functions.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and client preferences to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.
