The Area Revenue Manager oversees revenue management operations and strategy for designated properties within the Belmond Southern Europe & UK Region. This role is crucial in optimising revenue and maximising profitability through effective pricing and yield management strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximise revenue and occupancy.
  • Analyse market trends, competitive positioning, and customer segmentation to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct daily pick‑up analysis, adjust pricing and inventory strategies as necessary.
  • Monitor and manage distribution channels, ensuring optimal revenue and rate positioning.
  • Prepare and present regular revenue performance reports, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and packages.
  • Utilise revenue management systems (PMS, Channel Manager, CRS) effectively to support decision‑making.
  • Contribute to the annual revenue budgeting process, providing accurate forecasts and recommendations.
  • Lead training initiatives for new team members on revenue management systems and processes.
  • Lead revenue meetings to align strategies and goals across departments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue management within the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of the London and Southern Europe market is a plus.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful revenue management strategies.
