This is a very hands-on role within a well-respected, design-led brand. The perfect candidate should have proven experience of 2 years in fast-paced retail environments, with a passion for providing world-class customer service, training/leading teams, and managing large stock inventory essential. A good eye for style, interiors, and visual merchandising is essential to maintain the brand’s 30+ years of upmarket aesthetics. Experience in gifting, stationery, or fashion/lifestyle retail is a plus, and buying experience is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Customer Service:
- Creating a friendly welcoming environment for our customers
- Training teams to deliver excellent service levels, being confident brand ambassadors
- Assisting customers, providing advice and recommendations, and sharing product knowledge
- Handling customer requests, orders, complaints, and inquiries
- Identifying opportunities within the retail calendar to help drive sales
- Ensuring the team is fully trained on customer service, product knowledge, additional and link selling techniques
- Using commercial knowledge to ensure key product placement of best sellers
- Visual merchandising, rotating stock, and ensuring regularly refreshed displays
- Restocking and ordering of store stock
- Processing of store deliveries
- Keeping an accurate stock file and maintaining
- Rotas, scheduling, and payroll reporting
