The role of Sales Advisor reports to the Sales Manager and carries out all sales aspects involved in the day‑to‑day running of a development, whilst ensuring we give the highest level of service to all customers.

This role is a fixed‑term position for 1 year and is predominantly a site‑based role with occasional travel to divisional offices.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets as defined by senior management.
  • Progress reservations through contract exchange and legal completion.
  • Assist customers post‑completion with the reporting of any repairs or issues.
  • Work with Sales Managers and colleagues to suggest ideas to increase sales.
  • Present the site in the best possible light and ensure it is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Provide full and accurate information to purchasers.
  • Guide customers around show homes, stock plots and the site to demonstrate the product, features and benefits.
  • Ensure all sales site visitors are made aware of Bellway’s Health and Safety Policy and are accompanied by a representative.
  • Use Bellway’s CRM system effectively, maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate customer meetings with the Site Manager and record weekly Sales/Site Meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, processes and standards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficient IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the home buying/conveyancing process.
  • Use own initiative to plan, prioritise and organise work to meet sales/completion targets.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Committed to diversity and inclusion.
  • Ability to work alone or within a team environment.
Experience, Qualifications and Training
  • Experience within the housebuilding industry is beneficial.
  • Experience delivering excellent customer service and working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Experience in property sales and marketing process.
  • Experience dealing with customers in a customer‑focused environment, including home visits.
  • Experience establishing effective working relationships with other property professionals and outside agencies.
  • Current full UK driving licence.
  • Access to a vehicle for business use as required.
Working Conditions
  • Predominantly site‑based with occasional travel to divisional offices.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and location, including weekends and occasional evenings as required.
