The role of Sales Advisor reports to the Sales Manager and carries out all sales aspects involved in the day‑to‑day running of a development. The position is based at Wakeley Meadow, Rainham, Kent (ME8 8GS). We aim to give the highest level of service to all customers while achieving or exceeding sales targets and progressing reservations through contract exchange and legal completion.
- Achieve sales targets as defined by senior management
- Liaise with customers, solicitors and financial advisors to ensure timely contract exchange and legal completions, including post‑completion reporting of repairs or issues
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and colleagues to propose ideas for increased sales
- Maintain the general presentation of the site at the highest standards
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge to provide accurate information to purchasers
- Guide customers around show homes, stock plots and the site, demonstrating product features and benefits
- Ensure all sales site visitors have been informed of Bellway’s Health and Safety Policy and are accompanied by a representative
- Use Bellway’s CRM system effectively, maintaining accurate records
- Coordinate with the Site Manager to arrange customer meetings promptly
- Attend and record a weekly Sales/Site Meeting with the Site Manager, completing any action points that arise
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, processes and standards
Experience and Qualifications
- Working within the housebuilding industry (beneficial)
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Handling confidential and sensitive information
- Engaging in property sales and marketing processes
- Managing customer interactions in a home‑visit environment
- Building effective relationships with other property professionals and agencies
Qualifications and Training
- Current full UK driving licence
- Access to a vehicle for business use as required
Skills and Aptitude
- Thorough knowledge of the home buying/conveyancing process
- Initiative, planning, prioritisation and organisation to meet sales/completion targets
- Proficient IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with adaptability to new systems
- Effective communication with all stakeholders and strong interpersonal skills
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment
