Multi Skilled Engineer

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable multi‑skilled engineer to carry out a range of planned/reactive maintenance tasks and help develop your career in building services.
How will you be the change?
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests.
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, pumps, motors, lighting, and plumbing.
- Assist with contractor supervision and monitor work quality and compliance.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety legislation, hospital policies, and statutory requirements.
- Complete maintenance records, risk assessments, and documentation accurately using the engineering app supplied by Bellrock.
- Support compliance with HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) and SFG20 where applicable.
- Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations, ensuring compliance in all activities.
- Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are used safely and stored correctly.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including correct use of PPE.
- Provide excellent customer service when working in occupied rooms/areas.
What does it take?
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent engineering qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Ability to use common tools and equipment.
- Previous experience in building services.

Working arrangements
Work from St George's Hospital, Tooting, SW17 0GT, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Flexible and remote working where business needs allow.
