Role Overview

Bellrock Property and Facilities Management Limited, part of the Bellrock Group, provides leading service charge and insurance management consultancy across the UK retail, leisure, office and industrial sectors. This role offers the opportunity to join a high performing team delivering expert insurance consultancy to major UK retailers and leisure operators, with a key focus on supporting the growth of the insurance management portfolio. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, motivated and commercially driven, with experience in risk management, commercial insurance broking or property underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of insurance rent demands, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution.
• Supporting in the creation and issuance of regular reporting for our clients, including the preparation of regular payment recommendation and performance summary reports.
• Driving service excellence by identifying process improvements, embedding best practice, and ensuring our clients consistently receive market-leading advice.

Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with commercial insurance broking/placement procedures within the UK and/or Republic of Ireland.
• Ideally relevant exposure to and strong comprehension of the inner workings of the UK commercial real estate insurance market, preferably with working knowledge of common policy features and underwriting principles.
• Experience of contract law, analysing contracts (ideally lease documents) with consideration to differing interpretations to contractual clauses.
• Experience of supporting with commercial property reinstatement valuations.
• Experience of high volume or high value account management.
• Ability to learn and embrace adherence to our procedures, but with the ability to find alternative solutions and implement changes when challenges arise.
• Cert CII qualification or higher.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyse, model and present data.

Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from Peat House,1 Waterloo Way, Leicester, LE1 6LP and your home address on a hybrid basis, Monday to Friday, 08:30am-17:00pm.
