Deliver property maintenance services in line with all group standards, key performance indicators and targets ensuring high standards are consistently met together with observing all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

As a Gas Combustion Engineer with Bellrock, you’ll do it by:

  • Undertaking planned & reactive trade-related maintenance tasks within own area of expertise and skills set allocated by the Scheduler and/or appropriate manager.
  • Undertaking gas and plumbing refurbishment tasks including testing work on completion.
  • Participating in the out of hours call out rota as designated.
  • Providing recommendations/solution options to rectify faults/maintenance issues.
  • Maintaining and exercising divergence with company plant/equipment promptly highlighting defectives to line managers when necessary.

Compliance:

  • Providing timely, accurate electronic worksheets and timesheets.
  • Ensuring 100 percent adherence to client scanning on/off requirements.
  • Driving in a safe and diligent manner observing road traffic legislation.

Internal & External Customer Relations:

  • Maintaining the professional image of the company at all times.
  • Helping resolve any client-related issues or disputes.
  • Ensuring work areas are left clean & tidy.

Health & Safety:

  • Carrying out work in a safe and diligent manner adhering to company policies, procedures, risk & method statements.
  • Reporting any H&S issues, concerns, bad practice, or non-conformance to Senior Management.
  • Fully participating in training activities including e-learning.

What does it take?

  • Domestic & Commercial Gas ACS qualifications - essential.
  • Basic competency in using technology - email and the use of tablets for internal software system.
  • Full driving licence - essential.
  • Sound understanding of Health, Safety and environmental legislation and working practices - essential.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) - essential.
  • Must be able to cover emergency call outs (evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis).
  • Committed and flexible.

Working arrangements:

We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from various sites covering the London area. Hours per week are 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
