Bellrock is seeking experienced Multi Skilled Fabric Engineers to support asset tagging, condition surveys, and fabric maintenance works across multiple client sites. This role is hands-on and varied, requiring engineers with a strong fabric background, a secondary trade, and the flexibility to travel as required. The initial focus of work will be in Wakefield and surrounding areas, with upcoming projects in Liverpool, so geographical spread and flexibility are essential.
As a Multi Skilled Mobile Engineer with Bellrock you’ll do it by:
- Completion of reactive and planned maintenance and repair work to the highest standard
- Undertaking asset condition surveys in line with Bellrock and client standards (extensive training will be provided)
- Accurately recording asset data and condition information using Bellrock’s electronic systems and platforms, whilst clearly identifying the asset using suitable media
- Carrying out building fabric maintenance, repair, and minor works
- Working safely in plant rooms, service risers, roofs, and other building spaces
- Liaising professionally with clients, site teams, and Bellrock management
- Travel to multiple sites as required to support project delivery
What does it take?
- A recognised technical qualification. For example a Level 3 qualification in: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Installation, Building Services, Plumbing or a related technical discipline (City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent)
- Experience of completing Multi Skilled tasks including building repairs for example working on floors, walls, windows, doors, ceilings etc
- Experience of (or a willingness to undertake) asset identification, tagging and condition surveys as a key element of the role
- High standard of health and safety awareness and compliance
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS check completed prior to employment commencing essential
- A good team player
- Must be able to communicate well both verbally and digitally
- Be able to produce detailed reports and documents
- Strong attention to detail and safety focused
- Polite and considerate and a good manner with customers
- Must be calm under pressure and always willing to help
- Able to accommodate occasional stays away from home if required
