As a People Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in aligning our People Strategy with our operational business objectives. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, providing strategic and operational advice and guidance on all people-related matters. You will contribute to building a positive and inclusive work environment while implementing best practice in employee relations, performance management, and talent management.

As a People Business Partner with Bellrock, you’ll do it by:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business goals and align people-related strategies and policies to support delivery of organisational objectives. Build and maintain a Divisional workforce plan that supports initiatives related to workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention. Lead the people workstreams relating to Divisional acquisitions and contract wins.
- Employee Relations: Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of Bellrock Group policies. Conduct investigations, provide coaching, and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Performance Management: Partner with managers to implement effective performance management processes. Provide guidance on performance and development reviews, performance reviews, and career development.
- Talent Development: Identify training and development needs, and work with the Learning and Development team to implement programs. Support talent mapping and succession planning discussions with senior leaders and managers.
- Compliance: Ensure case management is in line with relevant employment law, Acas Codes of Practice, and Bellrock Group HR Policies and Procedures. Engage external legal advice as needed to resolve complex cases.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilise HR System reporting tools to assess trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to leadership teams. Provide regular reports to leadership on HR metrics and initiatives.
What does it take? If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a People Business Partner, you’ll need:
- A recognised HR qualification (degree level or equivalent), or equivalent professional knowledge gained through significant experience working in a senior generalist HR role.
- Membership of CIPD (Chartered desirable or working towards).
- Working knowledge of TUPE in and out processes.
- Proven experience in handling complex and sensitive employee relations matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Significant experience working as an HR Adviser or Business Partner.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, Acas Approved Codes of Practice, and best practice HR policies.
- Proficient in HR Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence colleagues at all levels of an organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business goals into HR actions.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and results-focus.
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.

Working arrangements: We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work between our Sheffield and Oldham offices, working two days a week with the team and the rest of the week can be worked from home.
