We are looking for a proactive, field‑based Maintenance Technician to support our client premises across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Assess risks to yourself, customers and colleagues before starting work and implement control measures.
- Provide quality general maintenance and coordinate with café teams and suppliers to deliver excellent customer experiences.
- Act as the custodian of maintenance standards, owning problems from identification to resolution, while working safely and promoting safe working practices.
- Co‑ordinate, review and challenge supplier activity and standards, and provide guidance to site teams to prevent unnecessary maintenance.
- Work unsupervised to undertake routine planned and reactive tasks, prioritising work to ensure people are safe and minimise trade impacts.
- Deliver KPIs for planned and preventative maintenance, ensuring reactive fixes are achieved within service targets.
- Use the available systems to record work completed accurately, including times, root cause of issues and clear descriptions for follow‑up work.
- Meet legal, compliance and health and safety standards, and perform asset label maintenance and condition reporting.
Qualifications
- A trade qualification demonstrating competence in electrical, mechanical, plumbing or building fabric.
- Computer/PDA literacy in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Awareness of cost and budget control.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
- Full driving licence.
- A proactive time‑served multi‑skilled tradesperson with experience in both preventative and reactive tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage expectations.
- AI fluency: active use of AI tools in day‑to‑day work, curiosity about new technologies and a learning mindset for continuous improvement.
Working Arrangements
Field based at various sites. Required to work on site in London Monday to Friday 06:00‑14:30.
