The role is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of new and evolving contract projects, including leading the mobilisation and transition of new client contracts into operational delivery and transition projects for existing clients, including service expansions and contract variations.
Mobilisation Planning & Project Management
- Lead the end‑to‑end mobilisation of new client contracts, creating and maintaining a comprehensive mobilisation project plan including key milestones, dependencies, risk register, and decision log.
- Monitor progress against deliverables, escalating risks or delays and initiate corrective actions to maintain momentum.
- Organise and lead pre‑go‑live reviews with stakeholders to sign off the mobilisation.
Existing Client Projects & Contract Variations
- Lead the execution of change projects within existing contracts, including improvements and complex contract variations.
- Ensure project plans align with contract variation requirements by collaborating with commercial, legal, and operational teams.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Facilitate regular progress meetings with stakeholders to ensure transparency and clear communication throughout the mobilisation lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client and internal stakeholders.
- Chair focus sessions to track progress, gather feedback, and resolve challenges.
- Ensure robust communication plans are in place to keep stakeholders engaged from initiation to close‑out.
Resource & Team Setup
- Lead and manage internal mobilisation teams across departments, ensuring coordinated effort and accountability for deliverables.
- Work with the bid team to understand pipeline for future resource requirements and support sales during the bid process.
Knowledge Transfer & Handover
- Facilitate a structured handover post‑mobilisation.
- Conduct post‑mobilisation reviews with the client and internal teams to evaluate performance, resolve outstanding issues, and identify future enhancements.
- Conduct structured project close‑outs, handovers to operations, and lessons‑learned workshops to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Project Management Qualification PRINCE2 Practitioner / Agile / Scrum.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple transitions simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of the Facilities Management industry.
- Excellent project management skills.
- AI fluency and learning mindset: active use of AI in day‑to‑day work, strong curiosity about new technologies, and ownership of continuous improvement.
