As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive HR support to both employees and management. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, such as conflicts and grievances, in a fair and timely manner.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
  • Assist in the resolution of performance-related issues, guiding managers on performance management policy and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and analytics to inform decision-making and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies that align with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duty as requested by the HR Business Partner from time to time.

  • A recognised HR qualification, or equivalent professional knowledge gained through significant experience working in a generalist HR role.
  • Membership of CIPD (Assoc essential, working towards Chartered).
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards).
  • Experience as an HR Adviser or in a similar HR role.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in HR Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm and results-focus.
  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Negotiating with and influencing managers.
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented.
  • Committed to high standards and continuous improvement.
