Lead M&E Asset Surveyor

Key Purpose
- Support development of Assets Division incorporating sustainable growth, statutory compliance and governance, retention and development of our client base.
- Assist in growing the customer base so that the Asset Team positively contributes to business growth and financial performance overall.
- Client facing leading individual projects to ensure quality delivery from the team within budget.
- Be a proactive team member within the Asset Division, ensuring company culture and behaviours are always displayed.
- Undertake survey work as directed by Head of Assets.
- Lead with project progress meetings where necessary, keeping the Head of Assets informed of progress.
- Work collaboratively with other divisions to achieve targets and present a seamless approach to clients.
- Ensure delivery of a professional and exceptional service to clients.
- Identify M&E assets to formulate asset registers.
- Provide lifecycle reports for M&E plant.
- Provide advice around M&E lifecycle management.
- Home based – nationwide travel where necessary.

- Manage resource requirements and monitor & manage to agreed deadlines.
- Ensure all business processes are being followed by staff.
- Carry out management reviews of technical outputs in accordance with business management systems.
- Assist in the ongoing development of business processes, templates and standard forms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contemporaries in other areas of the company.
Commercial
- Manage fee level versus resource/time (job cost) to deliver required services.
- Address promptly and make senior management aware of any project issues.
- Setup new projects.
- Manage project invoicing.
- Complete WIP exercises.
Support to Senior Management Team
- Assist other team Leads with team resourcing / planning.
- Attend on TEAMS or in person at regular Senior Level Team meetings.
- Provide regular progress and performance reports to senior management.
- Participate actively as part of the senior level team.
What does it take?

- Reasonable knowledge of the Building Surveying market, with up to 3 years direct experience.
- Ability to deliver 6 Facet surveys (Desirable).
- Experience in asset collection.
- Organisational skills.
- Knowledge of sfg20, NRM3, CIBSE Guide M.
- Good understanding of M&E principals.
- Proficient IT use to ensure deliverables can be issued in a timely manner.
- Ensure the delivery of a professional and exceptional service to clients.
- Knowledge of different CAFM, IWMS Quality Management processes and systems.
- Develop the Assets service line, working with the Head of Assets (M&E).
- Support other areas of Bellrock Consulting.
- Follow industry practice and legislation to deliver competent Assets Services.
