The role requirement is for an energetic, friendly, customer service focused individual to operate from the building management office / Front of house areas over various Southwest sites Monday – Friday.

We now have an exciting opportunity to manage all building requirements through the guidance of the Regional Facilities Manager.

The role requirement is for an energetic, friendly, customer service focused individual to operate from the building management office / Front of house areas over various Southwest sites Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional day-to-day management of a prestigious commercial property, ensuring a safe, compliant and welcoming environment.
  • Lead and develop the on-site team, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
  • Build strong relationships with occupiers, driving engagement through events, initiatives and regular communication.
  • Manage planned and reactive maintenance, cleaning, security and contractor performance to ensure high service standards.
  • Oversee health & safety, statutory compliance, emergency procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Monitor building systems, including BMS and IEQ, to optimise occupier comfort, air quality and energy performance.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and contribute to Net Zero objectives.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, service charge expenditure and support asset improvement projects.
  • Carry out regular building inspections, audits and risk assessments, ensuring compliance records remain up to date.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for occupiers, visitors and stakeholders, resolving queries and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in Facilities or Property Management within a commercial environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of building maintenance, building regulations and health & safety legislation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-driven with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet objectives.
  • Health & Safety qualification (e. g. IOSH Managing Safely) or willingness to work towards one.
